Understanding Your Data

Hi there,

Colin again from the Repricer team, Information is power, so today we’re taking a look at how to better use and understand the wealth of information available to you within Repricer. From Pricing Events to Competitor Details, let’s get cracking!

Repricing Activity - Timeline of Repricing

Repricer wants to make it as easy as possible for you to better see and understand your pricing. Be this your most recent reprice or looking at your repricing history Repricer keeps a log of all price changes for you to review when you need to.

There are two ways for you to bring up your Repricing Activity, the most common method would be from the ‘Repricing Events’ button on a product on your Product Screen. Clicking this button will bring up a list of these products’ Repricing Acitivity. Alternatively, you can access your full account history from ‘Repricing Activity’ on your menu in Repricer.

Once you have opened your Repricing Activity you can search for specific products or use our various filter options to pull back specific events by type, time period, channel and many more. This feature really does make it a breeze to keep on top of your Repricing History.

Please note that the period available within your Repricing Activity will depend on your plan:

Reports & Exports

Looking at events is helpful in many cases but in others, you can’t go wrong with a good old report. In Repricer there are two main ways to pull your data from the system. Via an export and via a report.

We touched upon the export file several emails ago as part of our bulk updates section so we won’t spend too much time on it here. On the Import screen or via the product screen you can export your product data in our import file format. This file includes tons of useful data including your Minimum, Maximum and Current Prices as well as the cheapest seller, fees data and much more.

Beyond this, we also offer a whole suite of Repricer Reports which you can generate on-demand from ‘Reports’ on your menu in Repricer. These pre-built reports have been created around useful datasets such as:

But that’s not all, with our ‘Custom Reports’ you can generate and save your own reports based on your chosen criteria. Even better you can schedule these reports to automatically generate for you daily, weekly or monthly so you will always have the data to hand. Custom Reports are limited to the Repricer’s Expert Plan, other reports are available on all plans.

Competitor tracking

As Sun Tzu said, “If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles”. Well, with repricing you’re fighting far more than a hundred battles and Repricer makes it as easy as possible for you to know your ‘enemy’ with the Competitor Screen.

Access the Competitor Screen from your menu within Repricer, it has been specially designed to give you insight into your main competitors. Here we will give you details of how well you are doing against your competitors across the products you are competing for. A great breakdown of how many Buy Box you’re winning, how many they have taken from you and how you stake up against them in terms of feedback.

Marketplace Competitors

What’s more, directly from the Competitor Screen you can target these competitors precisely. Using the target icon to the right of each competitor you can create a competitor rule right from here and apply it to any or all of your pricing rules. Being competitive has never been so easy!
